Dr Peter Meikle Appointed Chief Executive Officer, Grey Innovation
Peter Meikle has accepted the role of Chief Executive Officer, Grey Innovation. After joining the Grey Innovation team in April this year Peter has enjoyed an interim period as COO, an experience he described as “a complete validation of my decision to join Grey Innovation”.
Peter has over 25 years’ experience in the development and commercialisation of technology based products. As a PhD qualified engineer, Peter has occupied senior roles managing R&D, Strategy, Marketing, Business Development and competitive response in both private and listed companies.
Before joining Grey Innovation Peter operated a successful boutique consulting partnership with a focus on facilitating the commercialisation of technology. In his words, joining Grey Innovation was “a singular opportunity, but one that truly required the reality to match the branding. I have not been disappointed”.
Peter’s immediate focus is on the continued expansion of Grey Innovation’s process and capabilities in line with rapidly increasing demand from investors for its unique technology commercialisation opportunities.
Peter is not averse to making “Dad Jokes”, and despite many years of ocean yacht racing, fixed and rotary wing aviation including as a Commercial Pilot, he has on the advice of his kids accepted he will never be “cool”.
