Wellness trackers and smart watches are great for commercial use, but they have limited research application because they don’t allow access to the critical raw data for in-depth analysis.

Biocompatible and designed to be flexible and configurable, AWEAR has a suite of onboard sensors for reliable real-time data acquisition and allows for third-party sensor integration. With large storage and battery life, the AWEAR wearable can record high-rate data for the day, or low-rate data for a week. Utilising beacons for indoor movement tracking, end to end encrypted raw data is automatically uploaded to a secure cloud-based server daily and accessed by researchers using the proven AWEAR platform. Compatible with Matlab and other CSV tools, the platform provides an analysis toolkit and AI, Machine Learning support.
